If you are looking around for a "sure- shot" moose hunt, this hunt is exactly the one you want. The hunting area is located in the central mountain range of British Columbia. Moose hunting was closed for over a decade, and the moose population reached a healthy number. The Fish and Game Department decided to open moose hunting for the first time, issuing a very few tags, some were available through a draw, and we were fortunate enough to get 1 tag for ourselves. Yes, that's true, one single tag has been issued to us, and this tag is valid for two years. As I said, you will hunt a moose population that doesn't had any hunting pressure at all for years.
Moose are plenty, and bagging one of these giants should not be too hard of a task, providing you do exactly as ordered by our experienced guide. As far as we are concerned, the issue of this unique hunt can only be 100%, no less. It was decided to set-up a 10-day package, juste to give to the hunter enough time to fill out his tag should bad weather slow down the rutting activities. We hunt some remote mountain tops and deep valleys, where the Canadian Moose feels right at home. We choose the prime time to for such a hunt, which is the rutting season. It is truely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the bowhunter and the rifle hunter as well, to bag a nice trophy bull moose. The expected average trophy size goes from 44 to 55 inches, and chances to get a P"&"Y trophy class bull is definitely a good option. The terrain is quite rough, so be in good physical condition as we still expect a fair chase for a trophy bull. Book this hunt, and we will throw in a mule deer and whitetail hunt for free. Trophy deer are numerous, and in very good size (140 - 180 PY) range in that area.
