There's a place I know that's wild and free, Where I'm content and will always be, As long as I am there, you see, 'Cause It's good enough for me. If it's good enough for giant moose, And massive herds of caribou, And mountain goats and Dall sheep too, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for wild wolf packs, And black tailed deer and Kodiaks, And pods of orcas and gray humpbacks, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for loons that cry, And flocks of geese that fill the sky, And hawks and Eagles that soar on high, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for shaggy musk ox, And marmots that tunnel among the rocks, And red and silver and arctic fox, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for the arctic hare, And the wolverine and the polar bear, And the seals and belugas who linger there, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for the ptarmigan, And walrus' lounging in the sun, And otters who frolic just for fun, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for beavers there, And black and brown and grizzly bear, And narwhal and great blue whales so rare, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for ducks and grouse, And crane's and ermine and rainbow trout, And spawning salmon that thrash about, Then it's good enough for me. If it's good enough for char and grayling, And salmon of silver and red and king, And squirrels that scurry and birds that sing, Then it's good enough for me. With glaciers that slowly approach the sea, And lush rainforest with moss covered trees, And snow covered meadows in winter's freeze, It's good enough for me. With snow capped mountains that touch the sky, And pristine rivers that meander by, And rolling tundra with hills so high, It's good enough for me. With pounding surf on the ocean shore, And raging rapids and waterfalls roar, And placid lakes on the valley floor, It's good enough for me. With aurora borealis light, And a billion stars that shine so bright, And mountains aglow in the full moon light, It's good enough for me. With the golden glow of the morning sun, And the orange sky when the day is done, And the aura of twilight when night's begun, It's good enough for me. The peacefulness and tranquility, The silence and the serenity, The good place sets my spirit free, And it's good enough for me. From Ketchikan to the Aleutian Isles, From mushing huskies to native smiles, From mountain peaks to the endless miles, It's good enough for me. From Yukon Delta to Beaufort Sea, Alaska is the place to be, This place is good by God's decree, And it's good enough for me.
