Whitetail 2000
This video contains all of the bowhunting action of our 2000 whitetail season. We hunted in Michigan and Illinois. We managed to get some good video of some dandy whitetails. A couple were Pope & Young class bucks. Again we passed up shots at smaller bucks and ultimately failed to get any monsters. Mike was lucky enough to tag 2 nice 8 point bucks. We had a lot of fun and had some interesting encounters with wildlife.
Whitetail 2001
This video contains all of the bowhunting action of our 2001 whitetail season. We hunted in Michigan and Illinois with longbows. We managed to get some good video of some dandy whitetails. Several were Pope & Young class bucks. Again we passed up shots at smaller bucks and ultimately failed to get any monsters. I had many close encounters with big bucks, but they just wouldn't come in bow range of us. That happens to me a lot. That's why I started carrying the video camera. We had a lot of fun and had some interesting encounters with whitetails and other wildlife.
These hunts aren't as exciting and dramatic as our moose hunts, but they are entertaining and real. When you watch this video you'll be able to share the thrill of the hunt and the frustration of trying to outsmart those wily whitetails.
